  1. Honestly I just hate this guys face.
Also he always only say stupidest things with an attitude and comeback with more stupid excuses

  2. I listen to Fight Nation on Sirius xm regularly. It’s actually the only reason I subscribe to Sirius. Anthony co-hosts a show once a week with Din Thomas. I’ve noticed a reoccurring theme among the fighters who have had a lot of air time (Miesha Tate was on the channel for a while as well) and that is that they are somewhat delusional about their abilities. I realize that you have to be somewhat confident, but there is a difference between confident and delusional. The weeks leading up to th Johnny walker fight, Smith was constantly talking about how bad Johnny was, that his skill set was no where near his level….and many other things. The same thing with Tate, she was forever talking about her skills were superior to all of the other girls in the division.

  3. I mean just stay out of the mf comments my guy. It’s not like people are picketing outside his house, or talking shit to him in person. You can’t control what fans think, your record is your record. I am definitely not a Smith hater but let’s be real he’s not gonna be some fan favorite. He put on some good fights and a few great ones but he didn’t have the marketable personality or style. It’s been cool to see him perform on the analyst desk though. His deadeye and even presentation work really well for the desk IMO.

  4. that podcast he does with Bisping is a real meeting of the minds, I’ll say that. Some insanely dumb shit gets bounced around on that show. They collectively have the worst takes in MMA, just god awful b

  5. 1. We are not hadurs.
    2. Fuck Anthony smith
    3. We are definitely haters.
    4. I think I enjoy Anthony smith as an mma personality more than any other fighter

  6. Ayo ants and bispings takes re the conor situation were absolutely awful. But so were a lot of comments I read on r/ufc during the blackout.

  7. Yup, i stopped reading comments in FB or IG of any kind of sports. But the UFC it’s brutal, bunch of “keyboard thought guys” talking shit. My stupid comment of the year it’s : “Don’t leave it to the judges and finish the fight”

I was going to say reddit fans are better, but then i read the comments on this thread.

  8. I get what he’s saying. For some reason it’s just become “cool” to hate Anthony Smith. Look at the comments in this thread, as an example.

And it’s hard to understand why really – He does everything that MMA fans say they want. He’s kill or be killed: 54 fights, only 6 of which are decisions. He is chill: never caused the drama like McGregor or similar. He didn’t take the easy win against Jones. He didn’t quit against Glover.

He’s probably never going to be a world champion, but he dreams of it. Is that a crime? Does that make someone easy to hate? Lets not pretend that people like Bisping, Serra, Griffin, Glover, Pena don’t exist? Is he not entitled to dream, and work towards getting himself an unlikely win?

  9. It happens to every celebrity. They build u up only to bring u back down. The money and status doesn’t last forever, hopefully he was wise with his earnings.
