  1. * RDA: *I like to clinch along the fence*
    * RDA’s corner: *Strike! Strike! you are losing every single second along the cage!*
    * RDA: **I LIKE TO CLINCH ALONG THE FENCE**

  2. Luque was able to land some nice jabs consistently in this fight. Also was much able to outmuscle rda in the clinch and go for those ankle picks.

Rda probably should’ve stopped going into the clinch after he keep getting out grappled/muscled.

  3. That was honestly kinda painful to watch, it’s like RDA is on auto pilot for the clinch he’s done it so much immediately these past few years that he didn’t even consider continuing to throw in this fight even though he consistently landed on Luque.

  4. I think Luque’s title aspirations are done, he looked quite slow in his striking, wasn’t dominant in the grappling vs a smaller, 38 year old RDA, and looked gunshy. Glad he didn’t take too much damage after the brain bleed though

  5. Luque did an RDA to RDA, I’m sure he puts on a better performance next time especially with the improved takedown defense. He was spooked about getting knocked out and his chin held up so his confidence should get better next time. Gotta move that head a little more next time

  6. This is the second time I’ve bet against a fighter who had a long layoff due to brain damage (Veronica Hardy was the other one) and lost.

I’ll resist the urge to make a “best base for MMA” joke, and be glad that Luque had a successful comeback.

  7. Man, I’m prepared to get downvoted but here we go…

I’m a huge RDA fan, guy takes a fight no matter what. But he’s still human, and an hour ago the sub was praying for a lay and pray because of Luque’s brain injury. It has to have been in RDA’s mind that Luque is only months off of a potentially life threatening injury, and he may have had shades of Eubank Jr in there
