  1. Everyone loves bitching about fighter pay till someone they don’t like gets paid well. Good for her. She still fucking sucks and I won’t be tuning in to watch her fight anytime soon however this is how everyone starts getting paid more.

  3. this is the reason ufc fighters like her and burgos might as well leave for PFL so they can get paid 10x more fighting bums since they’ll never be ufc ranked

  4. Good for her. Like her or hate her shes doing well for herself. Must’ve been devastating to get a buzzer beating finish only to be outted from the playoffs a little later. Beautiful finish. For being a pretty average fighter she’s doing pretty well for herself. $100k is not a heck of a lot of money after taxes and fight camp expenses.

  5. Everyone here has their opinion on fighter pay so skewed by the ufc paying 15/15 that they don’t understand paying fighters 50/50 isn’t the end of the world

  6. MMA desperately needs to change the pay structure to 75/25 show/win payouts instead of 50/50.

That would be a great first step towards addressing fighter pay issues. The UFC should lead the way on this.

  7. I really don’t understand what the MMA community actually wants. Y’all go on and on about how fighters need to get paid more, then you shit on the one company that is paying them well because they’re “hemorrhaging money.” Make up your minds, people

  8. Bro, I’m all for fighters getting paid what they deserve, and I’m happy for Ngannou.

But I’ve asked about 5 times now: How is PFL going to be able to pay these fighters so well without going under, because they ain’t got 1/10th of UFC’s popularity.

But anytime I ask this people start calling me a hater or Dana nuthugger. All I’m asking is how is this different from Affliction, who also promised to pay fighters dank, but went under after 3 events?

  9. It’s crazy to think that any of these people in any league are ever fighting for sometimes four figures or very low five figures. An internationally aired sporting event and these guys are getting side show peanuts. I get it that no-name guys wouldn’t be on even 100k paydays, maybe not even 50k, but this is just too low for life. They’re putting too much on the line and giving the promotion too much value to just get dingdong money.

  10. Good for Ladd, always been a fan of hers. Still think she has potential, although her groomer boyfriend coach will likely forever hold her back

  11. “Six fighters topped the list at $100,000, while all other fighters received five-figure or four-figure payouts” Do they get paid by the word? Six fighters made $100,000, everyone else made over $1,000. Great info.

  12. Dont forget this is also a pr battle, with ngannou signing with PFL as well. a more respectable fighter than ladd might see that ngannou AND aspen ladd who are on two different ends of the spectrum are both getting paydays above what the UFC is offering, they might decide they had better fully explore their options outside the UFC.

  13. Female fighter who was middle of the pack, earning six figures

    Dana shits on PFL

    r/ufc
    r/mma

“Dana is my personal lord and savior . Can I blow him … please? With booger sugar on top?”

I’ll waer my tapout gear i bought in 2011 if that makes me more sexy

  14. The pay gap is crazy in PFL, some guys are making only 3k but Aspenn Ladd’s ultra boring ass gets paid 100k? Green has been in the PFL longer and gets paid only 21k? I wish it was more even but I hope the company is making money unlike ONE FC and Bellator bleeding money.

  15. How can PFL possibly be making money, or on the path to being profitable.

It has some decent fighters but it seems to pay way above market rate, and has very few MMA fans who give enough of a shit to actually watch their cards.

Kudos if they’re making money, but I’ve been an MMA fan for a long time and aside from PrideFC during its peak, UFC and maybe Bellator at some point, I can’t think of another MMA org trying to be a top tier org that makes money.

Regional orgs probably profit but that’s not what I’m talking about.

It just seems like PFL is on a long road of spending it’s entire VC fund, until they go broke and UFC just buys the entire thing for pennies on the dollar or poaches relevant fighters.

  16. She is such a trashcan, gave my doubts and watched a few of her fights she is irrepairable, womens combat sports in the USA is TRASH. ONE FC has real women striking talent!
