  1. Ray Borg a day ago BTW:

    >I’ve made a lot of changes in my life in terms of not just dieting and how all that goes, but it’s psychological with me now,” Borg explained. “I’m not hung up on dumb stuff. I’m not cheating on diets, and I just have a really strong mentality going into [weight] cuts. My last three [fights] showed that I was first on the scale, first to weigh-in. The questions are going to come up, the doubts are going to be there, but I brought those upon myself. One thing I’ve accepted is I’ve had a bunch of bad weight cuts, and it’s kind of helped me move forward, and I don’t really eat from that tree anymore.

  2. >“I think Ray and Keoni both had catchweights to begin with and we started with one contract price, and then they negotiated a catchweight because they couldn’t make weight,” Coker told MMA Junkie after Friday’s ceremonial weigh-ins for Bellator 295 in Honolulu. “And then for them to miss weight completely … When it’s time to fight, this is a professional fight league. This is not an amateur tournament. I think it’s time to say goodbye to both of them, and we’re going to move on and let them fight somewhere else, and good luck.”

    >“In the past, I get it,” Coker said. “But his management and my team assured me that he was going to be able to make weight and make the catchweight, which was 130 for sure. No problem. You go by the work becauase usually we don’t have a problem like this in a fight that big. But unfortunately, that’s what happened (Friday).

    >“Cutting weight might be difficult, and I’m not sure the details of why it didn’t work out. … It’s something that as a professional, you’ve got to make weight. That’s part of the deal. … We did everything we said we’re going to do. I feel bad for Horiguchi. I feel bad for his family who flew in from Japan.”

    Evil Coker arc is born

  3. You gotta have something wrong with you that you can’t make weight for 5-6 fights in your career, lose motivation to continue despite having your place in the promotion, management and pay day in jeopardy.

  4. I really don’t get why anyone ever accepted a fight with Ray Borg in the first place. The dude has pulled out of close to 50 percent of the fights he has ever signed on to

  5. Damn how many fights has he missed weight for? Honestly what’s the man doing fighting at a weight class he constantly refuses to weigh in at?

  6. Somebody owes Kyoji some money. Ray Borg gonna Ray Borg, but fuck that. Imagine what all his opponent(s) have gone thru to get to to fight week/weight cut and he does this bullshit time and again. Hard to think of a more disrespectful thing to do to another fighter.
