  1. Watch the MMA Hour from today, Ariel does a better dive on the Diaz situation and shared a bit more on Nate’s contract (talked about the “3 fight clause” and how theres a new type of clause people are not talking about). He believes we will see Nate’s last contracted fight in the next two months (also suspects the UFC will be trying to sneak in a late notice bout for Diaz). I would rather hear Ariel’s take since hes friends with Diaz and is in the know, than ESPN

  2. In another article Nate admitted that the UFC offered him Connor McGregor as his fight for a trilogy and Nate turned it down. So the UFC has offered him fights and he just doesn’t like the opponents they offered.

  3. I think he has 1 fight left on his contract, so they want him to re-sign before they offer him a good fight. He doesn’t want to re-sign, because he wants to box a Paul for a big pay day. So the UFC is offering him tough fights like Khazmat, which he is declining. But I could be wrong, I don’t know a lot.

  4. Think it’s obvious they’re trying to make Conor/Diaz 3 for his final fight, but since Conor needs so much time to recover/train then they’re fucking over Nate by keeping him on ice.

  5. I think it’s very clear Nate doesn’t like fighting anymore, doesn’t wear the damage as well and wants to retire healthy. If you followed him and Nick they pretty much talk about hating this shit but they have nothing else. Fighting was survival and they did it for years for no money.

Now nate is actually wealthy and has the opportunity to make ALOT more money in other promotions and even Jake Paul, BUT ONLY IF HE KEEPS HIS PERSONA. lot of ppl saying oh Nate isn’t bmf, oh Nate got his ass kicked, oh Nate cant win a title fight, but through his antics and personality, he’s caused enough plausible deniability that he is a draw and he can BANK ON THAT.

The man is looking for a retirement plan and I’m all about it.

And while I’m at it, I fully expect Paul to beat Rahman for the same logic. A 7-1 heavyweight boxer is not gonna be in any position to make a sustainable income for life. Especially after a KO loss. Some ppl have no idea how hard fighting is, how hard it is to get motivated after a brutal injury, how not getting a good night sleep sucks because of ur injuries, u just miss the simple shit and wish u were comfortable. Being offered to fight Jake Paul for 6+ figures is life changing money for someone in Baltimore and I literally can’t imagine anyone “playing ball” for that lottery

Prize fighting is theatre. These fighters need to posture and sell themselves so u tune in. Don’t forget that shit. Nate wants public opinion on his side regardless of his ability or desire to fight

  6. Do most UFC fans care? Nate is sort of a meme fighter at this point. We know why he doesn’t fight more. His fights aren’t electric enough for most of us to care. I hope he gets paid, but also I don’t really care if I ever see him fight again.

I assume I’m in the majority.

  7. Don’t know exactly what’s going on but im sure ufc managed to find a way to make the situation harder and more complex than it has to be, as per usual

  8. Dana said that they have to offer him 3 fights a year, otherwise they have to pay the fighter some kinda penalty. Then he said they haven’t paid anything to Diaz, so it must be Diaz turning down the fights.

  9. Here’s the deal. Nate has 1 fight left on his contract. He’s also a giant draw. The UFC will NEVER let him fight somewhere else because they feel entitled to all the money he makes. Why? Because fuck you, that’s why. Fuck Bellator and PFL too. And while we’re at it, fuck ONE, Rizin, every other MMA promotion not owned by Dana, the Fertida’s, and/or Zuffa. They’re the only people that get to milk Nate for all he’s worth. And if Nate is going to fight for another promotion, he must be drained of all value. Dana and the brass are all greedy fucking fat pieces of shit that should be in fucking jail for the rest of their lives.

Nate is trying to at least get good fights. People who offer him a favorable stylistic match up while also being big draws. Dustin could be right up there in that category. Nate was going to take that fight, but they lied about him and Dustin being the main event. When they revealed that it would actually be Conor, Nate stormed out. So now Nate doesn’t want to fight Dustin because Nate feels disrespected by the UFC. At least that’s why I think he keeps turning the fight down. Why else? He strikes me as a prideful and stubborn man. And of course we know that the UFC is extremely scummy and willing to screw anybody and everybody.

    Take my word with a grain of salt. I might be full of shit and I’m definitely a stan for #wardiaz #209 #stockton #nda #prodigalsons #diazbros #metalmulisha #strikeforce #westside

  10. Nate’s point is simple. He feels he should be paid way more than what he’s worth. Unfortunately people are only going to watch him today because hes the “Stockton slap” meme. And somehow represents a role model for other wanna be gang members.
