He’ll leave Izzy tangled like Rapunzel.
I do not doubt this. When he hits people, the way they go down is scary. Sometimes it looks like a strike he just put out there and it happened to graze his opponent and they went out. But really, he’s uncorking insane power on you. He unwinds into his strikes like a spring and catches you just right to send you to the shadow realm.

Izzy is in Dagestan right now drilling wrestling and growing a moustache-less beard.
Well when your body literally looks like stone… it probably checks out
i regularly watch this dudes left hook highlights on my phone when eating dinner after coming home from boxing
Built diferent
100% chance this goes the same way MVP/Daley did and one of them becomes a D1 wrestler, right?
Po Atan is a scary scary puncher, left hook can kill a horse lol.

Did you guys watch the kickboxing matches? In my opinion Izzy easily won round 1 and 3 of their first fight and it was a bit of a shock when they read scorecards first time, that being said Alex clearly won the second round. In the second fight Alex definitely won, but he was being outstruck until it happened. I believe that with slight adjustments Izzy would have probably gotten the finish in that second fight, and almost definitely without the standing 8 count the ref awarded Alex (which I thought was not a thing in pro fighting unless there’s a knockdown). Not to mention I believe that Izzy’s style of striking suits the MMA ruleset better, and I think that Alex’s style of striking suits kickboxings ruleset and big gloves better. So with that in mind I have Izzy with advantage in MMA striking and grappling, and we already know his cardio is really good, whereas we have not seen Alex don’t rounds of MMA which is much different than kickboxing because of how much longer the rounds are and how much more energy grappling uses than striking (in my opinion). I know that Alex could knock him out, I just don’t get why it seems like a lot of people in this sub feel like Alex is obviously a far superior striker to Izzy and that Izzy is gonna have to wrestle fuck him.
The glove size has to favor Pereira a little more, right? Dude legit has insane power. He doesn’t even look like he puts that much effort into it but gadooshes the fuck outta people.
Does anyone know a way to easily watch his fights? What are some of his great fights aside from him vs. Izzy? I’m super interested in the dude after his UFC performances.
The fight before last one was so good. He has the body of a Greek god pretty much. Him and Izzy are basically born to fight with their freakish genetics.
Yal being so confident Alex wins is weird based on EVERYTHING you’ve seen from him in MMA saying otherwise
Izzy in kickboxing = pacquiao
Izzy in mma = pretty boy floyd
Izzy fights completely different. In Kickboxing, Izzy is walking forward the entire time, bringing the fight.
Izzy in mma is point fighting like a matador.
I don’t really put much stock in their past fights because it was so long ago and Izzy fights a completely different style, but he still won the 1st fight (should have) and was winning until he got Ko’d in the 2nd.
I wonder if his very high level technique has anything to do with it, hmmmmmmmm
Anyone else tired of this “just hits different” shit in pop culture?
It’s gonna be so funny when izzy outpoints pereira to a easy decision. It’ll be better than aljo beating yan

Pereira beats izzy. Loses to Roberto who loses to Izzy.
Or Pereira wins and then gets mauled by USman
whittaker stans will flood this thread with how his overwhelming grappling will render pereira’s striking non existent lol
Shame, that He most likely will not be able to land clean on izzy. Izzy s gonna dance around him faking his guts Out and throw an occasional Jab.
When did they fight?
“Brick don’t hit back.”
To hell with izzy, as a Whittaker fanboy im scared if Alex faces Whittaker. That reach, that check left hook, its dangerous man. Man’s an effortless stone cold killer. I mean iknow its a different fight, it was long time ago and gloves were also different, but Periera knocked the f out of izzy, while izzy ate Jan’s polish power like tik tak.
How many years ago were their fights?
Alex winning back then means a possible mental advantage, nothing more. What does mean something is their progress as fighters since then. As I never followed kickboxing, others can judge that better.
It’s just something weird about the way he moves, you like feel that he is heavy… I don’t really know how to explain it but when he was bouncing around in the fight with Strickland you could just feel that he was heavy, like if he hits you or kicks you It’s going to f*** hurt because theres so much weight and force behind it. I dont’t know It just felt weird for me…
