  1. Who gets more unwarranted main events, Holly or Thiago?

Don’t get me wrong Thiago was a powerhouse pre knee injury, but we’ve seen enough fights since to know he’s not the same fighter.

  2. They’re trying to get Jamahal another highlight K.O by feeding him the corpse of Santos, so he can be violently put out to pasture.

Santos will be 1-5 in his last 6. Probably cut after that.

  3. This is clearly a fight to set up for Jamahal Hill. He’s one of the better options at 205 and if he wins and finishes Santos, he will likely be very close to a title shot.

This fight already seemed like it was set up to be the main event of a fight night when they announced it a couple months ago. I have no problem with it. Fight nights, if positioned properly, are ideal cards for prospects and title contenders to shine and set themselves up for PPV cards and bigger UFC events.

  4. Why the fuck is the guy who got his arm broken by Paul Craig given a big name/ washed opponent while Paul is fighting someone ranked below him? Fucking ufc pricks.

  5. I don’t hate this fight. Hope Hill gets a highlight reel KO and the train keeps moving.

I don’t dislike Santos but I think his time has come and gone and a win here only derails Hill

  6. I’m excited cause Jamahal hill seems like the type of guy who will actually come forward and engage Thiago, brawl with him a little bit. I don’t see Hill being scared of his power like walker and ankalaev were when they fought Thiago

  7. Just hope Thiago is getting paid before he finishes up.

Shame his fights are boring now. But I feel he’s been in enough bangers be allowed to decision his way to a couple pay days before he retires.

  8. Why the *fuck* do they keep putting Thiago in 5 rounders? He’s still an explosive monster, he just can’t keep that pace for 5 rounds so he has to tone it down. It makes no sense to me to put 205ers and heavyweights in main events unless they’re for sure #1 contender fights.

  9. Man LHW main events don’t ever excite me anymore. This used to be the premier division in the sport. Now it feels like they just match up any two ranked LHWs when they need a main event

  10. I’m not falling for this again. I’m not watching another LHW main event, less so a Thiago Santos one. He went downhill fast after the Jones fight
