  1. Jones finally came out and admitted the Reyes fight told him his days at LHW were over but of course he keeps the HW honeydick act up and says it’s his destiny to be HW champ.

    I can’t believe I’m agreeing with Lionheart Smith in saying that until he signs a contract he’s just blowing smoke up the whole worlds’ ass. I’ve never seen a guy who so obviously doesn’t want to fight act like he’s the second coming.

  8. Crazy to me that some people try to deny that Jones is out of his prime. He made his UFC debut in 2008, that’s 14 years fighting in the UFC. But then those same people will say Stipe, who made his UFC debut in 2011 and fights at a higher weight class, is out of his prime.

  12. Anybody else going to Seoul for the Korean Zombie FW Champ victory parade next weekend? I’ll be staying in Gangnam, let me know if you want to meet up and celebrate our new FW champion!

  16. Do you guys think that when thinking back that Michael Bisping and Julianna Peña had better chances of upsets than Korean Zombie currently has? Like is the gap between KZ and Volk a lot bigger than the gap between Bisping and Rockhold or Peña and Nunes?

  20. Rory Macdonald really Ali shuffled on BJ Penn back when BJ still sorta had a soul left lmao. Pre Lawler Rory fights were so wild, the way he beat Maia after Maia had mounted him, the way he dismantled Woodley, the way he sonned Nate. Robbie really snatched his soul fr.

  21. Would you call Khabib a humble person? I’m sure he’s very down to earth and characteristically full of humility but he always talked about how he’s the best in the world and how he can beat anyone and everyone

  27. Anybody speaking Russian here? Whenever I use the translation from IG of some Russian fighter it says “racing weight” for what I assume means cutting weight.

    I just find that interesting and funny

  32. This summer is the optimal time for Conor-Nate III

    * Nate wants one last payday
    * Conor is a more natural welterweight at this point
    * Both *look* to be exiting their primes, but are good enough to make it extremely exciting
    * Neither one has a clear next opponent in their own division
    * Whoever wins revitalizes their name/brand, especially among casuals

  36. Has anybody else seen the new Bisping documentary “Bisping”?

    Thought it was fucking naff. Super americanised mega montage of his greatest hits and comes off more like a fan made UFC promo youtube video than a deep meaningful insight into his life. Not even in chronological order so to anyone other than diehard MMA consumers it makes no sense as a standalone.

    Mike does the narration throughout and it sounds like he was coached/told to narrate with a bizarre intonation in his voice which I can’t get over; sounds so odd if you’re used to his commentary voice.

    Overall a D-

  40. The career trajectory of Marlon Moraes and Thiago Santos is so sad for me. I was certain that these guys would be champs after Cejudo and Jones left the divisions. And now they’ve been losing so much and look like shells of their former selves after both being two of the sickest most entertaining strikers in the UFC
