Hype, Pico is must see MMA win or lose
Pico is awesome to watch, would love to see him in the UFC one day whether he washes out or becomes a contender it’ll be fireworks
Borics was also undefeated. Dude is now 17-1. Never know who you’re bumping into early in a career. Pico has developed a lot though, and I’m excited to see what he can do.
Gonzales seems like a decent opponent. Is undefeated and has a lot of finishes. But he did barely beat Claxton. Looks like Ali still wants to slow build Pico. Honestly thought Pico was gonna fight a Jeremy Kennedy or something. If they want to slow build Pico there isn’t a point to having him ranked number 6. Just let him be unranked for now and when u finally want him to face a top 10 guy give him the rankings.
Edit: Nevermind didnt realize Gonzales was ranked 8 after 1 win.
I haven’t seen much of Gonzales, but judging from his record this fight seems like a banger.
A lot of the hype is behind Pico but Gonzales is nothing to sneeze at. D1 Wrestler for UNCO, same school as Justin Gaethje who Gonzales still trains with today. 12-0 Pro Record but also 9-0 as an ammy all wins by finish. So that’s 21 straight W’s. Won on DWCS, LFA Champ beating another undefeated guy. I agree last fight was shaky but I can see Gonzales winning via decision. They both fought on the same card their last fight and personally Gonzales had a tougher match up than Pico did. Gonna be in Florida for this fight, would like to see whoever wins this fight Burnell or Borics next!
