One of the best performances of the season, really interested to see how he does in the ufc great prospect
Good hands for an MMA guy but goddamn his head is stuck straight up in the air like a lighthouse.
He fights like some strange mix of Petr Yan and John Lineker, and I’m all for it
I mean he’s relentless and throws uppercut and elbows, so I like him. But he got hit a lot here. Not moving his head much.

He’s the real deal
Jack is a great prospect. He’s a little limited in the looks he gets over here in WA but with some exposure and some more experience I think he’s going to get very good.
Kind of interesting everybody is ragging on his lack of head movement and that he gets hit a lot, but will jump on the Paddy bandwagon even though Paddy got hit a lot in his debut.
This video can be a bit deceiving for those who haven’t seen the full fight. Jack’s striking defence held up well mostly, he had good footwork and head movement and he mitigated Loosa’s offence while picking his own offence accurately. Most impressive was his well-roundedness as his wrestling and cardio helped him control the fight. He managed to get out of a head and arm choke miraculously which was incredible. He did slow in the 3rd which could be costly, but managed to pick up considerably in the latter of that round. Other than that he did well and he’s only 25 so he has a lot of room to grow. Overall he should be a welcome addition to the division and I can’t wait to see how he does against Alves.

His defence needs alot of work paticularly the head movement but the way he ties combos together reminds me of a 185 petr yan, just flowy vicious combos

Yes, his head is in the air. But, man, I’m seeing almost full control from him. I’m thinking he’s just willing to take some pillow counters so that he could get the finish. I’m sure he’s more disciplined in his striking defense than what we see in this video.
