16. Watching this fight with my brother we both felt bad for Pedro because after a certain point it just looked like he was fighting a bigger, more technically sound version of himself. Aldo is the man.

31. Funny how so many casuals discount Aldo for the Conor fight, like it’s impossible to come back and be a champion again. That loss derailed Aldo for a time, but he looks really sharp, unlike nearly every other champion who took a bitter loss, and it won’t surprise me if he schools Yan when the time comes.

32. For the UFC, a McGregor-Aldo rematch makes more sense than any other fight for McGregor these days. I can’t imagine people care about seeing him lose to anyone else.

    Aldo is absolutely not at an age where he can’t compete with young guys, and plenty of the best pfp fighters in the ufc are close to his age. He has plenty of fight left in him and it’s not a shame to lose to him by any measure.
