I get that there was a legitimate poke. But it kinda looked to me like that significant gash between the eyebrow and upper lid was already there, from strikes? Like, his vision was compromised, and I wouldn’t be surprised if there had been a stoppage between rounds anyway. Weird that the poke supersedes that because of recency, and they can just say “can’t continue due to the poke, NC.”
Jesus I feel bad for both guys, was obviously an accidental eye poke and just an unlucky hand position. Just saying if the gloves were more curved and didn’t encourage open palm this might not have happened š¤·
