  12. Not the highlight reel finish he would have predicted, but that was a hugely impressive performance from Garry against a far more experienced fighter. Especially since alot of the fight played out where Grant would have wanted it. Had to get out of a few very awkward situations too. Good to get the rounds in too for a young fighter.

    And all of that even moreso given all the drama with leaving the team in the last week, preparation can’t have been easy. Would like to see him and KF make it up, but I guess more will come out about that, none of us know what happened.

    Big future ahead for “The Future”.

  23. Garry generally in control in this fight, but has still had to get out of some awkward positions against a very experienced grappler. Impressive showing so far.

  26. 2 rounds to Ian so far. Grant looks gassed. Walking down and shit-talking is only really effective when you’re not eating every single jab.

  28. Strong finish to the round by Garry, he should take it. Alot of grappling there and at times it seemed like Garry was trying to prove a point by engaging in it so much but he’d be better keeping it striking as much as he can. Grant is no joke on the ground.

  30. Paul Hughes stepping in to corner Garry tonight, not sure if it’s just himself.

    Hopefully Garry makes up with KF after, but I’ve no idea what happened so maybe it’s past that point at this stage. He’d need a new gym then so it’d be interesting where he’d go in that situation.
