  1. Kickboxing is so wild. Even the best guys get KO’d few times. That’s why K-1 HW days were so entertaining, literally anything could happen.

Actually 1st K-1 GP I saw was the one that Mark Hunt won, I was hooked immediately. Hunt taking LeBanner out was like something from a movie.

  2. What a lot of people dont talk about when looking at Alex and izzys kickboxing matches is that Alex was still relatively inexperienced in comparison to Adesanya at the time they fought. Hes got a lot better and izzy has aswell

  3. Zero chance Kyshenko could pass USADA tests at that time. Zero. If you’re a combat sport fan for a long time you recognize PED muscles because they have a fullness & roundness that you just can’t have if you’re putting in the necessary cardio work to fight. Dude is juiced to the gills IMO

  4. People forget, or don’t know, Izzy was beating the shit out of Pereira when he got knocked out, he was chasing a finish and got caught. He lost the first fight in a close decision, the second fight he was winning up until he wasn’t. Izzy seems like a much smarter fighter now, it was t like Alex was just this huge monster who over powered him

  5. Damn I remember watching Artur Kyshenko fight in the K-1 Max tournaments at 154lbs what feels like 15 years ago. He was one of my favorites. It’s wild that he’s TKO-ing a giant like Pereira, but I guess he’s been getting a little juicy lately. He looks way bigger now, it took me a moment to realize that was him.

Fuck K-1 used to be so awesome, I really miss it.
