  1. I could see Vera winning this, I don’t see Yan being the rocks he breaks on like others have. His patience and length could make it interesting, they both rely on a tight guard, seeing and rolling with shots to counter with power. Once Yan starts to open up I think the fight will be* decided, someone will start to pull away as the exchanges heat up. Yan getting a competitive decision seems more likely but Vera has been raising his game to meet the competition and has looked better each time out.

  2. Why didn’t he mention Jose Aldo as being potentially next for the shot?

    No mention of Aldo at all in the video even though he is rank #3 after beating Rob Font who I believe was top 5 at the time

  3. I texted my buddy that this was the one to make right after the Font fight; two extremely durable slow starters with an incredible amount of weapons. The most boring first round ever then 4 rds of both dudes eating 1-2-wheel kicks and smiling at the other.
