  1. If they give Tony Ferguson another fight who do you guys think it could be against? Wouldn’t be surprised if they just feed him to someone like Mauricio Ruffy or Jean Silva

  2. Out of every title fight this year, which were you the most and least sure about?

Most: Topuria/Volk (should have been obvious to anyone not letting emotions get in the way)

    Least: DPP/Izzy

  3. I hope Conor becomes broke and washed and we get those tell sell commercials back where he bounces around like a coked up Irish manic trying to sell me lawn chairs for 49 bucks.

  4. So yesterday I had a hot take that Kevin Lee coulda been one of the goats if he started training as a kid.

Today, I’m gonna list some of the reasons why his potential never realized.

In 2014, he was still going to college taking 16 credits working on a biomedical degree while still training mma part time with no training partners in his debut ufc fight vs Al Iaquinta.

When he went full time mma, his coach Robert Follis of team quest and xtreme couture fame as well as eric nicksick have said he’s one of the most athletic people they’ve come across.

He had staph going into the Tony fight and Kevin has said he was extremely nervous in this fight. I think if he had been training as a kid, he’d be more comfortable competing.

Start full time training in 2014. 3 years later interim title shot is pretty nuts.

He was like training by himself in garage for the Oliveira fight because of covid restrictions.

Follis was against the move to 170. Kevin today in 2024 interviews has said it was a mistake. I never should of done it. When he did it, he’d try to put on weight. He had to lift weights and eat non stop. It killed his speed and cardio. Having more weight on his 5’9 frame made him more prone to injury.

Never the same after the knee injuries.

He says he hasn’t been the same ever since Follis died. He was his Cus D’Amato. By the time he went to Firas, that was 170 Kevin Lee with no knees.

He claims he was ducked a lot between 2018-2020. It happens a lot to a lot of fighters. Khamzat only became a star after beating Gilbert Burns. Most people wouldn’t have taken that fight. Zabit endlessly ducked. Umar is now only on top because Sandhagen was willing to take that fight. Most people wouldn’t have done it. If not for him, Umar would still be rank 11 or w/e.

Won’t go into his 170 career since he never should have done it in the 1st place.

The weight cut was hard. He says he should have just dialed it in better lifestylewise.

  5. I see a lot of people shitting on DWCS. Apart from the lesser contracts that fighters who come through DWCS get, is it really bad as a concept?

The criticism seems more towards how dwcs talents are scouted, the lack of pay and the amount of fighters being added rather than the concept itself from what I’ve seen.
