1. Kyler looks legit, sad to see Assuncao out. He’s had a long career and recovering from injuries (if that’s what this is) is only going to take longer and longer

2. Hate to say it but do y’all think Assuncao is going to get cut? First pulling out the Raoni fight and now this one. He’s also on a 3 fight skid.

3. That’s a serious downgrade from Assuncao, a flyweight who’s 2-2 in the UFC and missed weight in his last fight that he arguably lost

4. Assuncao the pullout merchant robbing us of the Barcelos fight and now this

5. Why they got jesus incarnate fighting for the UFC when he should be fighting for our sins.

6. Probably gets smacked by Phillips but he hasnt fought bantamweight in a while

8. Philips is easily the most entertaining striker in the UFC, I’d love to see him matched up against O’Malley.

9. Kinda glad to see it, Assuncao losing to a guy like Garbrandt at all (let alone the way he did) was compelling evidence he should’ve been retired years ago

   Between getting robbed blind by KKF and the cut stoppage against Bont, Paiva is also a lot better than his record suggests, so this could be pretty cool if he doesn’t just get wrestled (actually might favor Paiva in that case, he’s not defensively all that but a fun combo-counterpuncher with a better jab, when it seems like Kyler can only either jab or shift)
