  1. “Pray you win because if you don’t win then I will win” says coke addled fighter.

Jones just writing some fucking Sorkin-level dialogue these days.

  2. lol I think Franny’s reply got to him.

Seriously though how would Jon “break” him? Edging him in terms of volume each round via oblique and body kicks?

  3. As much as I give him shit in a vacuum if Francis doesn’t get the KO/TKO Jones would be probably the favourite to win by decision or submission. Especially since Jones has a decent-strong Greco Roman background + tons of kicks & elbows he’s probably the most versatile fighter Francis has faced theoretically. But again this is in a vacuum. Edit: seriously though he is he has more attitudes in his favour than Francis and he’s by far the most rounded fighter Francis has faced. Stipe doesn’t have any submission wins, he doesn’t throw as many kicks. He has more wrestling than JDS. He has more kicks than Curtis. And he’s never been finished. He’s a problem for Francis man.

  4. He’s right tho. Against miocic he was starting to gas in the second round, if jones can get past round one I think he’d start to piece him up.

  5. He is not praying to knock you out. He is training to knock you out like he has EVERY other motherfucker who thought they could beat him.

  6. Dont forget thiago santos & dominic reyes almost beat this man fairly recently and they were landing on the feet. Francis needs one clean punch and jones is out cold

  7. “ You better pray you knock me out “

Jon ngannou doesn’t have to pray he just has to be ngannou and he’ll knock you out and when was the last time Jon broke somebody what 2018

  8. Idk how this fight would go tbh, like my instinct wants to say Ngannou by knockout but the truth is I could also totally see Jones using his wrestling to control Ngannou for the whole fight, it’s just been so long since Jones had fought that we don’t really know what shape he’s in and if he’s ready to face what appears to be a prime of his life Ngannou.

All this said I still reckon Ngannou would have it just due to the overall size difference between Jon and his opponents in his most dominant fights, as well at the trouble he had against Gustafsson and Reyes reads to me like he might have some trouble against bigger dudes, idk though, just some guys opinion at the end of the day.
