This is delusion honestly and I am saying this as a big Eddie fan.
Ok you can argue Eddie didn’t get a fair shake against Lapicus, but he looked bad against Ok Rae Yoon where he got all of his takedowns stuffed and got dropped.
It’s clear now that Eddie according to the ONE rankings lost to the #3, #5 and got a no contest to the #2. There isn’t a viable option to the title unless he gets a fight vs Aoki, which even then I think he would lose to Christian Lee at this point
Then again what did I expect, Eddie somehow said he won the first Dustin fight, he is a bit of a sore loser.
Wish Eddie would’ve stayed in the UFC. His win over Garth has aged very well and I’d really like to see him fighting Ferguson, Charles, Islam, etc.

I think the ONE rules left him hanging a bit. Looked he was just keeping OK pushed up against the fence without ever taking him down and keeping him down, which the commentators kept repeating does not score in their system.
This ruling system makes more sense IMO, but old habits die hard…
