  1. I still have no idea how this fight went to decision. Cub was fucking battering him for 15 straight minutes. I gained a lot of respect for Kron and his toughness, only to immediately lose it when he came out later saying he won this fight.

  2. It’s amazing that Kron couldn’t deal with those big body shots despite cub loading a lot of them up from two miles away.

Although he was throwing that same shot to the head so he was likely very confused lol

  3. I like Cub for many reasons, but man. In a sport full of headhunters…he works the body enough for three or four normal fighters put together. What a badass.

There are fighters who listen to their boxing coach and then there are fighters who LISTEN. TO. THEIR. BOXING. COACH.

  4. Cub spent half the time just winging body shots like a wobbly washing machine because Kron would just turtle up any time he wound up. Defense is good, but not when it’s predictable like that.

  5. Probably has the best Jiu jitsu in the division…. Proceeds to stand and bang the whole fight….. (I do understand it’s his takedowns that let him down most)

I hate when people who are so talented at one aspect try and ‘show’ they have more to their game, but not fall back on their A game when it doesn’t work.
People will see the rest of your game eventually, and it will have more impact if people don’t know you’ve been working on it.

  6. I still have zero clue how the commentating team spun that Kron Gracie had good stand up in this fight. Sure he has some pop in his hands but jfc for someone that trains with the Diaz bros you’d think he’s have a some fundamentals.

  7. And all without using a jab or any feints to set the shots up. A majority of these were telegraphed but a lot of MMA fighters have so little understanding of striking. Absolutely beautiful work on Cub’s part, I’m a sucker for body attacks

  8. I’m from the same valley as Cub and I heard his name a few times growing up. I’m glad I’m a UFC fan now and am able to see and enjoy his fights. He’s dope
